Introduction to the discussion
“Observation” in nursing care is an objective and careful observation of the user’s condition and changes. This objectively is a big point, even if you intend to observe properly, but if subjectivity enters your thought, it will not be a good observation.
One thing that we can say is that jumping into a conclusion too quickly weakens the ability to observe. Thus, observation can be said to be sensitivity to know the other party.
In other words, if you can improve your sensibility and estimate that the other person’s heart is appealing, it will create a solid foundation to improve all the skills of caregivers.
Finding the problem
Then, how should “observation” information in nursing care be used?
Argument
In nursing care, since there are many opportunities for two or more people to care for one cared person, sharing information is important.
By sharing information, users’ life patterns can be understood, and the intention to observe firmly is born by being aware of the art of other staff.
However, observation depends largely on the caregiver’s experience and ability, and in fact, observation is a kind of art in nursing care. Therefore, I believe that constructing an effective system for sharing information with the intention to learn the art of nursing care will be of great significance.
Conclusion
Therefore, I would like to create a program to strengthen observation beyond the boundaries of homes and communities and spread it widely in society.
Examining the conclusion
By studying with Professor Tomoyuki Furutani, who has many research achievements such as data science in the medical / health field and satisfaction evaluation by Bayesian statistics, I am sure that I could obtain various perspectives regarding my research and it would open up new horizons for me.
Therefore, I believe that Keio University’s Faculty of Policy Management is the most suitable place for pursuing my research and social contributions, and I am aspiring to enter your school and study in your laboratory.
