慶應SFC 環境情報学部 AO入試(グローバル) 志望理由書 提出例(矢作尚久研究会向け)

  1. Associate Professor Naohisa Yahagi

Introduction of the discussion

The reason why Japan’s medical care is lagging behind other developed countries stems from the fact that medical information has been hardly utilized in medical administration such as policy planning and institutional design, and the most valuable medical information (interactive interview data) also has been hardly utilized and has been left untouched for many years.

This is because the format of the medical record and the definition of words are not standardized, so the data is not conducive to analysis, and the medical records are still mainly written in paper media and the digital data are not available.

In other words, the most important information, which is the treatment content, is the tacit knowledge of the medical practitioner and is not stored as visualized data.

Visualization and digitization of medical information at each medical institution will be an effective measure that leads to overall optimization by region and country.

Finding the problem

In order to accelerate and evolve the overall optimization of medical resources, if networked database technology is used and standardized high-quality medical information can be collectively analyzed as big data, the quality of medical services can be improved and it will help to strengthen R & D (research & development), pharmaceutical industry competitiveness, and social security costs.

Argument

Digitalization of medical information through the introduction of standardized electronic medical records, and a comprehensive digital infrastructure that forms the backbone for sharing medical information and medical information are required as a social scale medical infrastructure. The introduction of this medical system makes it possible to visualize medical information that has been regarded as tacit knowledge, to provide efficient and effective medical services by systematizing the information environment, and to improve the quality and safety of treatment.

Conclusion

Therefore, I would like to deepen my research on the mechanism to connect the whole medical resources through visualization, digitization, and networking of individual medical information.

Examining the conclusion

By studying with Associate Professor Naohisa Yahagi, who is also a pediatrician with a doctor’s license, has a strong interest in medical sociology, and has a track record of building a system for collecting information on side effects of children’s drugs, I am sure that I could obtain various perspectives regarding my research and it would open up new horizons for me.

Therefore, I believe that Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies is the most suitable place for pursuing my research and social contributions, and I am aspiring to enter your school and study in your laboratory.
